Direct Diamond Supplier Awards
Every year we invite our Direct promoted suppliers to attend our Direct Suppliers Away Day event incorporating the annual Direct Diamond Supplier Awards. The Awards are very prestigious and are a way of acknowledging those suppliers that have achieved outstanding performance in different areas with our members. The Direct Diamond Supplier Awards are the highlight of the day as at least two of the categories are voted for by BHF-BSSA Group retailers, so it really means a lot to be a Direct Diamond Award Winner!
The following awards are presented each year and below are the current winners who were presented the awards at the Direct Diamond Awards Ceremony held on 14th April 2010:
- Most Promising Newcomer: EPE International
- Best Turnover Growth: The Rayware Group
- Best Marketing (Cookshop & Housewares): Zwilling J.A Henckels
- Best Marketing (Hardware, DIY, Garden & Pet): CPC
The retail members of BHF-BSSA Group rewarded two companies for for their ongoing commitment, service and support by voting to reward them with the Supplier of the Year Awards
- Direct Diamond Supplier of the year, Cookshop & Housewares sector: Dexam
- Direct Diamond Supplier of the year Hardware, Garden, DIY and Pet sector: Jegs Electrical
Also, this year, Jegs Electrical was recognised with a special award in recognition of Commitment to The Independents. The event is completely free to attend and is our way of thanking suppliers for their support whilst also keeping them informed of our progress and latest new initiatives to help our businesses grow together.
Retailer members are all invited to vote for their “Supplier of the Year” prior to the event when voting forms are distributed.
