How it works

The Direct Company uses the combined purchasing power of over 7,500 BHF-BSSA Group members to negotiate better buying terms for the independent retail members of BHF-BSSA Group across the UK.

The system is straightforward:

  1. The retail member places their order directly with the supplier;
  2. The supplier delivers the products to the retail member;
  3. The supplier sends the invoice to The Direct Company;
  4. The Direct Company invoices the retail member;
  5. The Direct Company pays the supplier at the end of the month following invoice date, less the agreed settlement discount, irrespective of whether or not the member has paid us.
  6. The retail member pays The Direct Company.

It’s that simple.
